个人简介

周华鹏,博士,教授,博士生导师,四川省第十三批学术和技术带头人后备人选。长期从事植物逆境生物学研究,着重解析植物感受环境胁迫过程中所发生的遗传和分子特性的变化,以期寻找植物抗逆性的关键调节基因,阐明植物响应逆境胁迫的信号调控网络并鉴定可提高植物适应逆境的关键作用元件,探究植物对逆境胁迫的应答与耐受机理,为遗传改良作物提供科学依据与潜在基因资源。

研究成果

以模式植物拟南芥等为研究对象,发现了去泛素化酶(UBP)家族成员介导的蛋白质去泛素化修饰过程对植物耐盐抗旱性及脱落酸信号途径等具有重要调节作用;阐明了通用调节因子(GRF14-3-3蛋白参与调节植物耐盐性的分子机制;解析了GSK3类蛋白激酶BIN2通过SOS2而调节植物耐盐性的分子机制;阐明了转录因子MYB30通过转录调节交替氧化酶AOX1a而影响盐胁迫下植物体内的氧化还原平衡以提高植物耐盐性的分子机制;解析了蛋白激酶SIMP1通过蛋白酶体成熟因子UMP1A影响蛋白酶体成熟过程而提高ERAD效率,从而缓解内质网胁迫而提高植物耐盐能力的分子机制;阐明了PIP3小肽通过类受体激酶RLK7激活MPK3/6而提高植物对盐胁迫的应答与耐受能力的信号网络。相关研究成果先后发表于Developmental Cell2020年)、Plant Cell2012年、2014年、2021年)、New Phytologist2020年、2021年)、Plant Cell and Environment2016年)及Plant Journal2020年、2021年)等国际权威期刊上,先后被CellTrends in Plant Science等国际顶级综述文章引用介绍,截止目前他引次数大于900次。上述成果为进一步理解植物的抗逆性等提供了新的证据,对于遗传改良作物、提高其抗逆能力等具有重要的科学指导意义。

 

研究方向

通过正向/反向遗传学手段筛选鉴定调节植物应对盐害、干旱等逆境胁迫新的调节因子与调控原件,解析植物对逆境胁迫的应答与耐受过程的信号调控网络,为遗传改良作物提供新的基因资源与遗传靶标。
